Back in the day, this locomotive was Soo Line 4406. Way back in the day when this locomotive was brand new, it was Soo Line 796. The SOO on the long hood was red. Soo Line had 10 of these GP38-2 s numbered 790-799, which followed the SD40-2 s and were before the U30C s. Later, they were renumbered into the 4400 series, to connect with the other GP38-2 s. |
