Trailer 89243. There's actually a story with this photo. I was traveling northbound on Interstate 55, and saw this truck at a rest stop. I wanted for a while to photograph this combination, but I couldn't get off right away, so I had to exit a couple of miles up the road and then turn around and go in a southbound direction. After snapping this photo, I couldn't get back on going north, so I had to go several miles in a southbound direction to exit so I could go north again, like I orginally was going. I guess if you want something bad enough, you do things like this. |

Containers 235000-235399 were manufactured by Jindo, in January 2007. Containers 235500-235999 were manufactured by CIMC, in December 2006. |

Container 213120 was manufactured by Pines, in May 1998. J B Hunt also had other yellow door containers along with these 200 series ones. They had some 48 foot containers that were in the 600, and 700 series. There were just over 8,900 of these with just over 5,200 in the 600 series, and 3,700 in the 700 series. These 48 foot containers were retired, when J B Hunt decided to go with an all 53 foot container fleet. In November 2001, the first of the Wabash National containers were purchased. This was the end for the 600 and 700 series containers, as they were retired in 2001 and 2002, with more and more of the Wabash containers being added. The Wabash National containers were built between November 2001, and March 2006. There are around 11,500 of these, and they are in the number series from 215500-224569. Then they pick up at 224600 and go to 227039. The gap in the containers from 224570-224599 were pretty much not used, except for three containers that I know of. These containers are 224576 and 224577, which were manufactured by Jindo, in March 2005. For some reason, these two containers have the J B Hunt logo all the way in the back, where the number usually is. The other container is 224580 which was manufactured by Hyundai, in October 2005. The rest of the numbers in this small group, were never used. |

Trailer 668506 is brand new, as for being manufactured by Wabash National this month. J B Hunt first started purchasing these trailers in October 2013, and these are replacing the Wabash National trailers that were built in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Currently J B Hunt has at least 7,906 of these trailers. J B Hunt also has some trailers that are in the 660 series that were manufactured by Hyundai, during October, November, and December 2008. These are in the series from 660000 to around 660434. The newer trailers perhaps start at 660600, because I havent seen any pick up in the 660400s where the Hyundai types left off, or any in the 660500s. Another feature with these new trailers is that some have swing doors, and some have a roll up door. |

This is one of the newest containers that J B Hunt has, and these containers have a different look to them, where there s a squared off edge along the top of the container on the sides. Also, J B Hunt has started adding a larger logo on the sides of some of the newest containers. The logo is the same size as how you can see with some of the 676 and 677 series trailers. Two containers that I have seen with this design are containers 329743 and 329861. |
